National Representative
The National Representative shall:
- Serve as a representative of the region to the national TYCA by:
- Attending twice yearly meetings of TYCA (or arranging for a proxy to attend)
- Bringing to TYCA any resolutions or proposals originating from TYCA-PNW
- Reporting to TYCA plans for and the results of the annual conference
- Serve as a representative of the region by
- Informing the TYCA-PNW Board and membership at large about resolutions and proposals made by TYCA, NCTE or other regional associations
- Presenting a report of TYCA and NCTE activities and issues to the Publications Editor for inclusion in the regional newsletter
- Implementing in the region those decisions which the regionals and NCTE have agreed should be general practice
- Serve as a two-year college representative on, and as an ex officio voting member of the CCCC Executive Committee and attend its twice yearly meetings
Additionally, the National Representative:
- Shall serve a three-year term.
- Shall hold no other office on the TYCA-PNW Board.
- Shall be a member in good standing in TYCA-PNW, of CCCC, and of TYCA/NCTE.

TYCA-PNW.ORG is the website for all things concerning the Two-Year College English Association of the Pacific Northwest, serving college faculty in Alaska, northern Idaho, Oregon, Washington, western Wyoming and the Canadian provinces of British Columbia and Alberta.
