We are pleased to announce that the Red Lion Hotel on the River will be the official hotel for the upcoming conference in Portland. The Red Lion is located on the banks of the Columbia River, offers free airport shuttle service, and has received three “eco-leaves” for their green initiatives.
Conference attendees must book by September 11th using the promotional code “TYCA-PNW” to receive the conference rate of $105 dollars a night. Shuttle service to and from the Red Lion and the conference will be provided. Hotel reservations can be made by calling (503) 283-4466.
While the Red Lion is the official conference hotel, the Cascade Campus is located only .3 miles from the North Killingsworth Street Station and attendees may choose to book a hotel anywhere along Trimet's MAX line.
Attendees may also choose to stay at the nearby and historic McMenamin’s Kennedy School hotel located a few miles from the Cascade Campus.
Shuttle Information:
A shuttle will be available to pick up participants staying at the official conference site, the Red Lion Hotel. The shuttle will pick up twice in the morning and will depart from the Cascade Campus at 4:45 and 5:15 to return attendees to the hotel. There will not be shuttles available from any other conference hotels.

**Special Information for Washington attendees:
Some of our Washington constituents have asked for an optional hotel in Vancouver, Washington, just a few minutes from the conference site. Some departments have offered to count this as "in-state" travel. Please check out a map of Washington Hotels and directions to the conference. We would recommend the Econo Lodge Vancouver, the Hilton Vancouver Washington, and the Comfort Inn and Suites Vancouver because of their proximity to the conference.
